Konstantinos Michanetzis, a former naval officer with a distinguished 21-year career, is the driving force behind the European Defence Venture Studio (EDVS). Leveraging his technical expertise and entrepreneurial mindset, Konstantinos has built a dynamic ecosystem that bridges the gap between industry, academia, and government to address critical defence challenges.

After transitioning from the military, Konstantinos founded numerous technology companies across Europe and co-founded the MIT Enterprise Forum of Greece, a pioneering business accelerator. This experience set the stage for the creation of EDVS in 2024, a venture studio dedicated to fostering dual-use technologies that enhance Europe's defence capabilities.
